Two nights, four events around a Spanish table! Join us for some amazing experiences at Taste of Helsinki 2014, Kansalaistorin puisto, Helsinki! Friday 13.6 & Saturday 14.6 starting at 5.30PM sharp! Fragrant extra virgin oils, cold-pressed roasted nut oils, free range iberico hams cured for 3 years in fresh Jabugo mountain air, Mediterranean fleur de sel with black olives, thyme, hibiscus... Taste, texture, aromas, conviviality and a fun way to learn about very unique products

Are you curious to enjoy a dynamic tasting experience while meeting new people? Would you like to learn more about fragrant extra virgin and nut oils in a fun way? Would you like to nourish your senses and appreciate different flavours from the Mediterranean sea?

Here is the journey that will take you around the Spanish peninsula!

I’M NUTS ABOUT YOU! **June 13th, 5:30 PM

We want to share with you our passion for artisanal, cold-pressed virgin oils made from different kinds of nuts! Our journey will take you to a world of nutty, fresh, pure fragrances. Are you wondering how to use them in your kitchen adventures?

ROAMING THE JABUGO MOUNTAINS **Jun 13th, 7:00 PM

The word’s best ibérico is the product of happy, free range, roaming pigs and 3 years ageing in the fresh, pure air of the Jabugo mountains. Beloved by young and less young, it is enjoyable at every meal, and combines excellently with Nordic flavours.

FLOWERS FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA **Jun 14th, 5:30 PM

Come along for a memorable experience with fleur de sel from the Salines d’es Trenc, in Mallorca. Salt flakes and roses, hibiscus, Indian spice, thyme, rosemary, black olives will bring you amazing aromas and tactile experiences. Need a twist to prepare your meals? We will show you how!

A SUNNY DAY ON THE OLIVE GROVE **Jun 14th, 7:00 PM

Wander with us around the Spanish groves that produce some of Spain’s most respected and awarded oils. You will learn more about how to use these pure, aromatic, fragrant and fruity extra virgin olive oils varietals and how to pair them with your kitchen favourites.

Every Tasting Table will last for about 30 mins and can accommodate no more than 12 people. Be on time to secure your spot around the table!

Alongside these main ingredients, you will have the chance to taste other Alambique products and learn more about how to use, preserve and enjoy them in your own kitchen.

Mediterranean Tasting Tables is a novel tasting experience designed by WE Factory with Alambique Oy and offering the best Spanish products at Taste of Helsinki 2014.

Based in Helsinki, WE Factory is a consulting firm founded by Veronica Fossa. It designs FoodScapes that facilitate a new style of networking. ‘FoodScape', that is, a little retreat that seeds, feeds, and nurtures the social capital. It is a space with food in its centre, populated by those who share the moment. The FoodScape experience fosters happiness and well-being for urban professionals by providing a unique food experience, specifically designed for them.
